Dr. Rekha has a PhD in Psychology with a specialization in Psycho-Oncology. Her interests and expertise lie in the field of Health Psychology and Qualitative Research Methods, among other areas such as Client Experiences in Chronic Health Conditions, Personal Growth, Psycho-Social Rehabilitation and Holistic Health Practices. With a decade long experience in teaching, she has also served as a trainer and counselor for various groups of people. She has facilitated workshops and lectures in areas such as parenting skills, professional growth, personal growth, counseling skills, life skills, mental health, well- being, and research methods. She has been a resource person, presented papers, and published articles in the area of mental health, psycho social rehabilitation and cancer care at the national and international level.
