A staff orientation was conducted for St. Joseph’s Evening Pre-University College

A staff orientation was conducted for St. Joseph’s Evening Pre-University College teachers on 11th June 2022. Fr Brian set the tone for the orientation by speaking on the paradigm shift happening in education and the evolving role of a teacher. This was followed by a session on the process and relevance of mentoring. Teachers then reflected on the strategies and activities they wish to implement in the ensuing academic year and shared their common vision. This was the first step towards reaching out effectively to the deserving students and fulfilling their calling as a teacher. They requested for more sessions on student mental health and mentoring as a practice.
